Sun Valley, Nevada
Property cleanups, one truckload at a time
Sun Valley sits in its own valley just north of Reno and Sparks, an unincorporated Washoe County community strung along Sun Valley Boulevard. Homes here tend to sit on bigger lots than in town, with room for carports, outbuildings and the things that pile up around them.
We haul furniture, appliances, mattresses, yard debris and full property cleanouts. Our yard in Sparks is a short drive away, and the crew does all of the lifting.

Local Know-How
Good to know before you haul in Sun Valley
Keep it out of the hills
Dumping on the open land around the valley is illegal, and Northern Nevada Public Health takes reports on it. When a pile has to go, hauling it properly is the way to do it. We sort loads for donation and recycling where we can before anything goes to the landfill.
Free dump trips are an option
Waste Management residential customers in good standing can take four pickup loads a year to a transfer station at no extra cost, with a recent bill or matching ID. The stations are on East Commercial Row in Reno and in Stead. That works for a small load and a free afternoon. We're for the loads that won't fit in a pickup.
Tell us about the driveway
Some driveways here are steep, narrow or unpaved. Tell us what the approach looks like when you call, or text a photo, so the crew knows what to expect.
Local program details come from Waste Management and city or county materials and can change. Check your bill insert or call your hauler for the current rules.

Questions
Sun Valley junk removal FAQ
Do you take mattresses and box springs?
Yes. Mattresses, box springs and bed frames are everyday items for us.
How is the price worked out?
By volume: how much space your items take up in our truck. A full truck holds about 18 cubic yards. You get a free, no-obligation estimate on site, and nothing is loaded until you agree to the price.
How soon can you come?
Same-day and next-day appointments are often available. Call, text or book online and pick a two-hour arrival window. The crew calls about 15 minutes before they arrive.
Can you clear a whole property, or only a few items?
Either. The price is based on how much space the load takes in the truck, so a single appliance and a full yard cleanup are priced the same way.
Can I just text a photo?
Yes. Text a photo of what needs to go to (775) 271-1969 and we'll text you back. The firm price is confirmed on site, before loading.
What can't you take?
Hazardous waste: paint, solvents, fuel, pesticides, asbestos and similar materials. For those, Keep Truckee Meadows Beautiful's recycling guide lists local drop-off options.
